    "text": "i had two things and this making this compound \nmakes me look a lot smarter than i really am  "

    "text": "very interested in that so i remembered that and \nso when i retired from being chairman stepped down  "

    "text": "and subcutaneously in the stomach with one and \nthen doubled it and then went up 14 times the  "

    "text": "lethal dose of mercury and waited 20 minutes for \nthe mercury to dispense or get out through the  "

    "text": "body and then on the other side of the stomach \nwe inject it in in bmi one time a single dose  "

    "text": "at excess level enough to bind all the mercury \nthat we put in anyway uh by over ten fold and if  "

    "text": "there's the same thing all over so my personality \nis well let's take a big jump and find out where  "

    "text": "we can kill more so we gave him 14 times a lethal \ndose and i'm telling you that when you pulled the  "

    "text": "long for that mercury to have a major effect \non their neurological system and but we waited  "

    "text": "20 minutes and they were all of them were still \nalive at 20 minutes but none of them could walk  "

    "text": "so on that note talk a bit about the oxidative \nstress and the free radical damage that occurs  "

    "text": "especially with mercury present well mercury \nmercury cannot create by itself hydroxyl free  "

    "text": "radicals it's not an electron donor it's not a \nredox metal as we call it iron and copper are  "

    "text": "so when you induce oxidative stress with a \ndose of mercury which you do i mean mercury  "

    "text": "if you're mercury toxic you're under oxidative \nstress and it's because the mercury gets into  "

    "text": "different locations in the body and this would \nbe everywhere mercury goes everywhere and when  "

    "text": "it goes there it's going to get oxidized \nfrom hg0 the mercury vapor goes to everyone  "

    "text": "and then when it gets to hg2 plus what does it \ndo it goes and it finds a sulfur to react with  "
  },

    "text": "and most of the sulfurs or sites are where you \nbuy iron like in the electron transport system and  "
  },

    "text": "everything so it knocks the mercury the iron off \nand the fe2 increases in your brain for example  "

    "text": "and it causes oxidative stress and that's what \ndamages the tissue and causes the neurological  "

    "text": "diseases so let's so perfect segway now from that \nuh describe the connection with alzheimer's and  "

    "text": "mercury well you know the this again was something \ni ran into inadvertently i had a graduate student  "

    "text": "sabia ha-tun who did some of the early work \nwith me on uh mercury and photo labeling uh uh  "

    "text": "and she was doing a postdoc in that and she came \nback in the laboratory because we were all of us  "

    "text": "was being accomplished and she told me people \ndidn't know what caused alzheimer's and at that  "

    "text": "time i knew what alzheimer's was i knew it was \na dementia that was the extent of my knowledge  "

    "text": "about alzheimer's disease and my technology that \ni was using in the cancer center was to look at  "

    "text": "normal tissue like normal breast tissue versus \ncancerous breast tissue to see what nucleotide  "
